UREP at the Resisting the EU’s Deportation Regime Conference in Athens, Greece – 19–20 September 2025
UREP was proud to be represented at the Resisting the EU’s Deportation Regime conference in Athens. Our Vice President attended the event, joining activists, scholars, and advocates from across Europe to strategize, share knowledge, and strengthen the collective fight against unjust deportation policies.
The conference provided a space for powerful conversations, solidarity, and inspiration, reinforcing UREP’s commitment to defending human rights, dignity, and protection for refugees, migrants, and stateless persons.
“It was an honor to connect with so many dedicated advocates and to contribute UREP’s perspective as a refugee-led organisation. Events like this remind us that collective action is key to challenging policies that harm displaced communities,” said UREP’s Vice President.
