Our Work
NEW ABC Project
Inclusion of Migrant Children and Youth in Education
UREP participates in the NEW ABC Project, an EU-funded initiative dedicated to improving the educational inclusion of migrant children and young people across Europe. Supported by the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme (Grant Agreement No. 101004640), the project brings together organisations, schools, researchers, communities, and most importantly, children and youth themselves.
VOICIFY – European Youth Movement for Self-Representation
Empowering Young People with Migration Backgrounds Across Europe.
UREP is proud to partner with VOICIFY, the first European self-representative movement created by and for young people with migration backgrounds — including refugees, asylum seekers, migrants and undocumented youth. VOICIFY unites youth-led organisations, strengthens their capacities, and ensures that young people with lived migration experience can meaningfully participate in policy, integration and migration processes at European level.
Raising Awareness About Statelessness in the EU
A Collaboration Between UREP and the Apatride Network
UREP is pleased to collaborate with the Apatride Network on raising awareness about statelessness across the European Union. As part of this effort, our Vice President represented UREP at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, delivering guest lectures and engaging with students to shed light on the challenges faced by stateless individuals and the importance of stronger protection and inclusion.
These activities help foster a deeper understanding of statelessness, encourage informed dialogue, and support advocacy initiatives aimed at addressing this issue at the European level.
EYMID Project
Empowering Youth Through Migration, Inclusion, and Dialogue
UREP has taken part in the EYMID project — “Linking European Young Migrants’ Intercultural Dialogue” that brought together young people from Lisbon and Brussels for a series of digital sessions exploring identity, culture, work, future aspirations, and social challenges. Led by MigratieMuseumMigration (Belgium) and organised in partnership with Foyer des Jeunes, the project created a safe and inclusive online environment where young refugees, migrants, and local youth could speak openly, ask questions, share experiences, and build intercultural understanding across borders.
